Skinny fat woman, cut or bulk?19085

Hi everyone I'm new here and looking for advice,

I were 207lbs and I've lost weight down to 145lbs (I'm 5 foot 8). I've been lifting weights while on a calorie deficit since the beginning of this year in hope of dropping fat but keeping as much muscle as possible.

I'm hoping someone can give me some tips as I'm not sure I'm on the right track, I feel I should maybe be eating more and start some sort of bulk as I would like to build my legs and bum up, on the other hand, I feel I weigh too much to even think about eating extra calories! I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction!

Congratulations on the fat loss. 62lbs and counting.
Clearly you are on a caloric deficit; what is your daily caloric intake right now?

Its around 1400 a day. I don't know wether to continue to loose weight or try and build some muscle now. My legs and bum are looking more skinny than I would like but as you can see in the pic,I still have love handles that make my bum look square!

@Louloux All in all, not bad. The semi-see-through top is nice and the rear view of the butt is good too.

I wouldn't necessarily say you need to "bulk", but you could definitely use some muscle mass.

You've been in a deficit for a long time now. You should probably go back to at least maintenance for a while. Let your body adjust, then reassess and go from there.

What kind of training do you do now?

Work your way back up to maintenance kcals and begin training like an athlete.

Bonus points for being able to see nipples. -3X

If ur happy now the slowly work up to maintenance and into a slight surplus.
If ur not I'd take a break from the diet anyway just to rejuvenate urself and have a fresh outlook into a second stint of dieting !!
