http://www.simplyshredded.com/perfect-20-simplyshredded-com-presents-the-top-20-most-aesthetic-physiques-of-all-time.html

I was reading the Top 20s and this is my thoughts
what are yours?

IMO Its Funny how body Styles and looks changes as to what "looks the best"for Aesthetic Physiques.
I think this list could be re did by age groups of the voters. There are some Guys that I think dont look near as good as other guys from a Aesthetic Physique point of view.

for example I think Serge for sure is top 3 but Others may not.

The other funny thing is #17 Danny Padilla
His whole style looks 2011 to me.
Hair,Shoes,Shorts,Body look. The guy looks like hes 31 years old right now as Born in 1980. Not 1951
Funny how trends come and go. (Damn I really hate the 80s look LOL)

wow greatwow really cool! This is from yesterday and today no longer cheap, I find that the real bodybuilder at that time were only astethik. It is decent, it just looks totally awesome! If you look now look at the gym, you see what's going on about all the pompous idiot would like: D

this is really a dream of every man, so much you can earn money with his body, just be aware of itself, the rest comes by itself, and money is thrown behind you, just so you're there even a pose!

I think its retarded Serge is not in the top 3. I usually like those lists, but the aesthetics one is bad.

I've to admit that Bob Paris looks amazing and Frank is also on the right place but Steve Reeves isn't so aesthetic IMO. Serge for example is much more.

But I see it funny too 'cause nowadays people might vote guys like Ulisses, Zyzz, Josef Rakich etc. on the list.

Just my opinion, but the list should start and stop with Yates. -EK

Yates was really aesthetic, and actually, Branch Warren was aesthetic as fuck at the Olympia in 2010. I still like those old school bodybuilders' aesthetic builds.

i am not a fan of branch warrens build, kudos to all his hard work.. just looks way too juiced out or something.

i know every bb'er is, but he looks like he should of never gotten that big.

Ya I would for sure agree Arnie belongs somewhere on that list. I think "aesthetic" is a very lose word. opinion based for sure.

Yes, very. I think too many people think that 'veiny' is aesthetic. If that were the case, today's bodybuilders would be the most aesthetic, but that isn't the case. Today's bodybuilders use certain drugs that cause them to be so veiny (not just steroids, but drugs pre-contest). Back in the day, those guys did not have those kinds of performance enhancers, but if they did, Serge would look like he had no skin because he would literally be covered in veins.

Yeah I agree, I wonder how 'aesthetic' these guys would have been had they had access to the designer drugs today's pros use.

I heard that Arnold only really messed with d-bol and that's about it. Don't quote me on that though...

@EK, I have never seen Yates as aesthetic. His physique is simply too round for my liking. (I generally dislike wide waists.)

I was going to post a couple of comparison pics with his younger self, but here's a good one google threw up:

That extra mass came at a whole lot of extra waist. The v-taper is only saved by enormous lats (and even then, only on a spread)- otherwise he appears very round.

Arnold used d-bol towards the end of his bodybuilding career from what I understand, it was winstrol that was most commonly used back in that day.
